Job Description:
Position Overview: Orbitalum, an ITW company, currently has an opening for a Service Technician. This dynamic person will be expected to perform a variety of operations involving equipment assembly, component replacement, inventory management, technical training, shipping/receiving and computer related tasks. Essential Job Functions:
- Perform computer related tasks such as order entry, inventory transactions, and shipping paperwork.
- Responsible for rental repairs including installing replacement parts to rebuild rental equipment.
- Maintain rental facility, inventory, and the equipment needed to test machines.
- Log equipment in and out of the system based on customer info provided.
- Able to complete repair estimates for customer-owned equipment.
- Communicate with the sales team to understand customer requirements.
- Keep area clean and perform all duties in a safe effective and efficient manner.

- Problem-solve as necessary
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and reprioritizing as needed.
- HS diploma, GED and/or 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Aptitude with various power tools preferred
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Basic computer skills/knowledge of Word and Excel computer programs
• Occasional travel for training, including overnight stays, may be required Hourly Rate: $28-$30, based on experience.
