Day to Day Responsibilities:
- The system Administrator will provide technical support to end users and work with other IT staff to diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, monitors, and printers at user workstations.
- Support will focus primarily on, but is not limited to Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Axure, AI tools, Hyper-V, VMware, and VPN.
- The ideal candidate is adaptable and comfortable taking on a variety of IT troubleshooting roles.
Skills Required:
- Windows Server Administration (Active Directory, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.)
- Hyper-V.
- Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure.)
- Networking (Firewalls, switches, routers, Wi-Fi, ISPs.)
- Vendor management.
- Customer service experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, and ITIL.)
- Strong background in customer-focused IT support, able to communicate and stay patient with end users.
- Hands on experience with AWS, Azure, Windows, and VMware & Hyper-V environments.
- Able to learn new technologies as ALTEN evolves.
