🚛 Heavy Equipment Operator – Waste Connections 📍Location: West Nyack, NY 💵Pay Starting: $22.50–$26.00/hr (based on experience) 🕓 Schedule/Hours: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday

We’re currently seeking a safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery and contribute to a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, scrapers, and compactors.
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance on equipment.
- Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices .
- Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.
What we need from you:
- 2+ years’ experience running heavy equipment
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
