County Waste has an immediate opening for a Baler Operator to work at our site in Albany, NY.
Pay Rate: $22-$24 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 5:00pm

Our priority is to make sure we hire safe equipment operators that care about the safety of our team and the service provided to our customers. As a equipment operator with us the minimum responsibilities are:
- Operate and tend the baling machine to compress and bind materials.
- Transport materials to the baling machine.
- Place materials in the compression chamber of the baling machine.
- Transport bales to storage, weigh them, and record the weight.
- Line the compression chamber with appropriate covering before baling.
- Performing routine inspection and maintenance on equipment.
- Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.
What we need from you:
- 2+ years’ experience running equipment
- Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
