(Delaware) Job Description Summary The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Co-Op supports the implementation and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility. This role assists with ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, promoting a safe workplace culture, and supporting sustainability initiatives. Job Description:
- Assist with safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
- Help maintain EHS records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
- Participate in employee safety training and awareness programs.
- Monitor environmental compliance activities, including waste management and recycling programs.
- Assist with ergonomic evaluations and workplace hazard identification.
- Support continuous improvement projects focused on safety, environmental performance, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to promote safe work practices.
Required Skills and Education
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Expected graduation December 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Expected graduation December 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.
