Registered Nurse (RN) – Private Duty Home Care Always Compassionate Health
Pay: $45 per hour Schedule: Flexible Scheduling | Immediate Openings Location: Nassau County
Always Compassionate Health is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality, one-on-one nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Perform G-tube/PEG care, tracheostomy care, and suctioning as needed.
- Monitor patients’ conditions, recognize changes in health status, and promptly report concerns.
- Provide ventilator support when required and within the nurse’s training and competency.
- Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, treatments, and safety measures.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted New York State RN license.
- Minimum of six months of home care nursing experience.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a home care setting.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
