Hours of Job
Part-time position, 48 hours per pay period. Daytime, flexible hours, start time between 5:30a.m. and 11:00a.m. Includes PACU on call rotation, includes weekday call, approximately every 8th weekend and holiday call.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
- Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
- Places the patient at the center of care practices.
- Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
- May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to the distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.
Requirements
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
Education/Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed RN
Experience
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
