About the job
If you’ve ever run a design center and felt like you were juggling deadlines, builder expectations, and customer satisfaction without clear tools or support, we get it. At Wisenbaker, we believe strong leadership, clear processes, and empowered teams create the difference between good results and exceptional results. If you’re ready to own a design center — driving product upgrades, customer experiences, and builder relationships — this is your chance. You’ll combine people leadership, process management, and business development to create a center that delivers results everyone notices. Your Mission: As our Design Center Manager, you’ll lead all aspects of your assigned design center, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. You’ll manage the team, processes, and builder relationships to drive upgrades, maintain cycle times, and ensure the design center operates at the highest standards. What You’ll Be Doing (and Absolutely Crushing It): • Manage all aspects of design center operations, including cycle time, product selection accuracy, and designer training. • Drive continuous improvement in product upgrade sales and builder satisfaction. • Oversee builder incentives, customer and homebuyer experiences, and accounts receivable processes. • Participate in model home meetings, internal business meetings, and support homebuyer design appointments as needed. • Lead, coach, and develop your design center team, including Design Consultants, Design Coordinators, Data Entry, and Estimators. • Maintain and improve Design Center Process Sheets and ensure team compliance with company standards. • Build lasting relationships with home builders and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. What We’re Looking For: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Experience in showroom or design center management preferred; familiarity with WBS systems a plus. • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Ability to work in a high-volume, results-driven environment with occasional overtime. • Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle product samples up to 25 lbs. About The Company At Wisenbaker, we don’t just support the homebuilding industry, we help build it from the ground up. As one of the largest interior finish solutions providers in the country, we partner with top homebuilders to deliver flooring, countertops, and cabinets that turn houses into homes. But we’re more than materials, we’re a people-powered operation where hard work is noticed, growth is real, and leadership actually leads. If you're ready to be part of something built to last, welcome to Wisenbaker.
