- Starting ASAP for the 2026–2027 school year
About the Role Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in an autism classroom serving elementary and middle school students in Boulder, CO . You’ll provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and create a structured, supportive learning environment tailored to students’ academic, behavioral, and developmental needs. You’ll partner with a collaborative school district and receive support from our therapist-owned and operated team.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to students’ needs
- Support students with autism through structured routines and individualized strategies
- Implement positive behavior support strategies and maintain a supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support diverse learning needs
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
- Experience supporting students with autism preferred
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
