Ace Carting , a Waste Connections company is hiring an Equipment Operator for our Fort Ann Transfer Station. In this position, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the transfer station.
Pay Rate: $27/hr | Weekly Pay Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 4PM
What You’ll Do:
- Back into the building to hook up to empty trailers, unhook the truck, and operate an excavator to move and mange solid waste at the transfer station
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area
- Perform daily inspections of equipment and report issues promptly
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation
- Follow all safety procedures and operational protocols
- Support team needs and step in wherever needed to keep operations moving
