Job Summary 

 To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add Senior Analyst - VMI located in Chennai.
What a typical day looks like:
- Good understanding of accounting basics, journal entries, accruals, provisions and reconciliation
- Journal posting, account reconciliation, clearing and basic GL analysis
- Basic understanding of cost centers, allocations, absorption and cost postings
- Execute close activities as per checklist and timeline
- Prepare reconciliations and follow up on open items
- Identify and explain basic month-on-month variances
- Prepare and post standard/manual journal entries
- Prepare recurring accruals based on inputs
- Reconcile balances and follow up on mismatches
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, basic data analysis
- Follow process controls and maintain supporting documents
- Provide requested supporting documents
- Support investigation and provide transaction-level details
- Identify improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams for routine requirements
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Complete assigned activities and support peers
- Own assigned tasks and meet timelines
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
• B.com / BBA(Finance) / M.Com / MBA(Finance).
- B.com / BBA(Finance) / M.Com / MBA(Finance).
- Good understanding on MS applications.
- 0-1 Year Exp in Accounting /AP Domain
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Good written/oral communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Systems.
- Good analytical skills and should be a team player.
- Willingness to work in complex environment with strict deadlines on projects
