ABOUT 8FLEET
8Fleet is a Los Angeles–based technology and logistics company building the operational infrastructure behind modern rideshare fleets, both non-autonomous and future autonomous. We operate in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Atlanta and Miami, with New Jersey, Detroit and Chicago next.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll partner directly with both Co-Founders on the priorities that move the business fastest. You'll turn their priorities into plans, own the projects too important to hand off, and build the Business Operations team behind them. The right person can start at 20,000 feet, go deep on the details, and bring the company along.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Act as a trusted partner to both Co-Founders: prepare them for key decisions and follow through on what comes out of the room.
- Run the company's strategic priorities end to end.
- Build and lead a small team of junior associates.
- Build frameworks to prioritize opportunities and make the case for where the highest-ROI work sits.
- Find operational weak spots and fix or rebuild the processes behind them.
- Track KPIs and analyze fleet performance data to find profitability and efficiency gains.
- Prepare materials and analysis for leadership, board and investor conversations.
- Be a go-to person when the business needs a fire drill solved.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 3+ years in investment banking, consulting, business intelligence, strategy or a related field, with high-growth or startup experience.
- Experience working directly with founders or senior executives.
- Strong analytical skills and the instinct to go get the data yourself.
- Speed with attention to detail, and a bias toward action.
- Excellent communication and the judgment to know when to escalate versus decide.
- Fluency in AI, specifically Claude. SQL, Python or R is a strong plus.
- Experience hiring, managing and developing direct reports is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.
- Rideshare platform experience (Uber, Lyft) is a strong plus.
COMPENSATION
Base Salary: $130,000–$160,000 + equity
