As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Caringhand Home Health Solutions, you will work alongside a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover, regain mobility, and return to the activities they love — all from the comfort of their homes.
This is a field-based, per diem position that requires travel to patients’ homes. Although listed as “remote,” this is not a work-from-home or telehealth role. Compensation is $90-$95 per visit.
Responsibilities
• Deliver hands-on physical therapy under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, following each patient's care plan.
- Deliver hands-on physical therapy under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, following each patient's care plan.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, and the use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetics.
- Apply physical modalities including heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and massage to relieve pain and restore function.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and care team.
- Document care accurately and on time, and participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
- Perform other duties as required for patient services
• Associate's degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Associate's degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Active PTA license from the Physical Therapy Board of California.
- Current CPR certification with AHA.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and willingness to travel to patient homes.
