Internship Overview As an FHU intern, you will gain practical experience in transportation engineering design with a focus on roadway design. You will work on real projects, build technical skills, and gain insight into the industry in a supportive environment where you can explore your career interests. Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the design, analysis, and planning of engineering projects • Participate in fieldwork, data collection, and analysis • Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for clients and communities • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and project documentation • Use industry software including AutoCAD Civil3D and/or MicroStation OpenRoads Designer Requirements Required
• Undergraduate (sophomore or higher) or graduate student in Transportation Engineering or a related field
- Undergraduate (sophomore or higher) or graduate student in Transportation Engineering or a related field
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with engineering software
- Solid mathematics skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Availability for a 3-month internship (approximately June through August)
