Department: Paragon Fleet Maintenance Group Job Description: JOB SUMMARY: Stevens Transport/Paragon Leasing, LP fully services heavy-duty commercial tractors and trailers out of our Dallas, Texas terminal and is hiring Truck Body Technicians to perform a various major and minor structural repair on diesel trucks, including frames, fiberglass, and sheet metal replacement. Multiple shifts available.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities
- Collision repair
- Fabrication and welding
- Bondo work
- Installation and alignment of cab components
- Repairing damage to fiberglass, composites, steel, and aluminum
- Windshield replacements
- Priming, sealing, and painting
- Replacing fenders, panels, bumpers, and other body parts
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications
- You must have your own tools
- 2+ years doing Bondo work
- 2+ years in collision repair
- Collision repair certification a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Collision repair experience on Kenworth, Freightliner, and Peterbilt trucks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Maneuvering around, in, on, and under trucks/tight spaces to properly inspect and diagnose problems
- Standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body movements
- Using hands to handle, control or feel
- Climbing ladders, stairs, and platforms
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- The work environment includes exposure to high decibels of noise, temperature, weather variations, metal welding processes and chemicals which may include solvents, undercoating, paint, and caulking.
Work Experience:
- 2+ years doing Bondo work
- 2+ years in collision repair
