Position Overview
CMC is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and Mandarin-speaking Dentist to provide on-site dental services to geriatric patients throughout the Los Angeles area.
This role is ideal for a dentist seeking a flexible, part-time opportunity to supplement their current practice while making a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors who may otherwise have limited access to dental care.
The selected provider will begin by servicing facilities approximately 2-4 times per month , with a strong expectation of growth to 4-8 visits per month as patient demand increases.
Our patients benefit greatly from providers who can communicate effectively in Mandarin, making bilingual proficiency essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care to geriatric patients in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and senior care settings.
- Perform examinations, treatment planning, preventive care, restorations, extractions, denture-related services, and other procedures within the scope of practice.
- Conduct oral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
- Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking patients and families to enhance understanding and treatment compliance.
- Collaborate with facility personnel and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to all applicable regulatory and professional standards.
- Provide care with compassion, respect, and sensitivity to the physical and cognitive challenges often experienced by elderly patients.
Qualifications
Required
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active and unrestricted California Dental License
- Fluency in Mandarin and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a mobile clinical setting
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Preferred
- Experience treating geriatric patients
- Experience working in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, or mobile dentistry settings
- Familiarity with removable prosthetics and denture care
Schedule
- Target Start Date: February 1, 2027
- Initial Frequency: 2-4 visits per month
- Growth Projection: 4-8 visits per month
- Preferred Days: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
- Typical Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
