Reports to: Service Manager Pay: $20/hour Schedule : Open availability and Saturdays Required
We're looking for a customer-focused, organized Rental Agent to support our Service department and help keep our loaner vehicle operation running smoothly. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with customers, staying active throughout the day, and keeping vehicles and processes organized.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate the check-out and return of service loaner vehicles
- Assist customers with loaner vehicle paperwork and provide professional experience
- Track vehicle availability, keys, mileage, fuel levels, and vehicle condition
- Inspect loaner vehicles at check-out and return
- Help ensure loaner vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for the next customer
- Move and stage vehicles around the dealership as needed
- Maintain an organized loaner vehicle area
- Assist with general porter and Service department vehicle needs
- Communicate with Service Advisors and the Service Manager regarding vehicle availability and customer needs
- Report vehicle damage or concerns promptly
- Follow dealership procedures for the safe handling and operation of vehicles
What You'll Bring
- 1+ year of customer service experience
- Automotive dealership, rental car, hospitality, or similar experience
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate customer and dealership vehicles
