Job Overview and Responsibilities The Technical Operations Reliability team helps United operate safely and dependably by analyzing aircraft defects and operational disruptions, monitoring fleet and system trends, and supporting effective corrective actions. The Engineer supports fleet and aircraft-system reliability by turning operational and maintenance data into clear technical insights and improvement actions. Depending on assignment, the role may support fleet reliability, Engineering Authorization (EA) effectiveness, regulatory/operational reporting, or other Reliability initiatives. · Analyze aircraft defects, interruptions, component or system failures, and reliability trends to identify recurring issues and root causes · Provide accurate, timely reliability data and technical analysis, including appropriate ATA/system classification and supporting details · Support fleet, system, and EA effectiveness reviews by evaluating performance trends, corrective actions, and expected outcomes · Recommend reliability and safety improvements and coordinate follow-up with Engineering, Maintenance, and other stakeholders · Support reliability meetings, regulatory or operational reporting, dashboards, ongoing initiatives, and ad-hoc technical requests · Maintain clear analysis, tracking, and documentation to support consistent and data-driven decisions This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Qualifications What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): · At least 3 years of experience in aviation, aircraft maintenance, reliability engineering, engineering analysis, or a related field · Bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering, another engineering discipline, or a related field · Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and aircraft fleet health and/or reliability programs · Ability to perform drill-down and root-cause analysis using complex, high-volume operational data · Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills · Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel · Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship · Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken) · Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification · Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications): · FAA A&P license or DGCA-issued equivalent · <span style="font
