Subsidiary Superior Aluminum Alloys Overview
Upkeep and continuous improvement of the entire plant exterior site and assist with routine environmental regulations and compliance projects - such as air, stormwater, wastewater, and material monitoring & response.
Responsibilities
•
- Exterior plant / site maintenance including but not limited to:
- Grounds maintenance: mowing / landscaping / fence upkeep
- Road cleaning
- Trash collection
- Snow removal (may require some nights / weekends)
- Environmental assistance with regulations and projects such as:
- Air compliance testing
- Stormwater/Wastewater maintenance & inspections
- SPCC tank inspections & maintenance
- Recycling & waste stream coordination / management
- Radiation detector maintenance & calibrations
- Spill response
- Other related tasks as needed
- Monitor and work with contractors to achieve program goals through safe working practices.
Qualifications
Required
- 100% Engagement in Take Control of Safety
- Self-motivation, able to work productively with minimal direct oversight
- Must become certified to operate a variety of mobile equipment
- Must complete annual environmental training
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including off hours snow removal
Preferred
- Heavy equipment experience
- Landscaping / snow removal experience
- Mechanical skills with light equipment maintenance experience
