Subsidiary SDI Lafarga Copperworks Overview
Direct and execute preventative / corrective maintenance and repairs throughout the facility. Train for future shift electrician position.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the highest standards of safety values and beliefs.
- Troubleshoot and repair all electrical equipment.
- Provide shift support, as necessary.
- Assist with creation and validation of SOPs, JSAs, and Lock Out Procedures.
- Train with shift personnel.
- Perform electrical tasks under supervision of an electrician.
Qualifications
Required
- Willingness to be promoted to shift electrician position.
- Substantial knowledge of the Cardinal Life Saving Programs.
- Previous electrical installation, controls, networking, or maintenance experience
- Must be able to read electrical prints.
- Must possess a well-defined sense of hazard awareness and recognition.
- Self-starter with ability to learn and seek guidance.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Preferred
- Formal technical education.
- Siemens PLC knowledge / experience
- Medium voltage transformers
- AC motors and AC drives
- Network fundamentals
