Associate Configuration Management Specialist - Frederick, MD

About the job

Support the Configuration Manager in maintaining configuration management plans, procedures, and program records.
Assist with configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and documentation activities.
Coordinate and track Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Change Notices, and Configuration Control Board (CCB) actions.
Maintain configuration databases, document repositories, and program records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist with establishing and maintaining hardware, software, network, and cybersecurity baselines for FAA voice communications systems.
Collect, organize, and distribute configuration status reports, metrics, and action item updates.
Support preparation for Functional Configuration Audits (FCA), Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), and customer reviews.
Maintain technical documentation, software release packages, cybersecurity artifacts, technical data packages, and subcontractor deliverables.
Assist engineering, field service, cybersecurity, and program management teams with configuration-related issues and data requests.
Verify documentation changes are properly reviewed, approved, and incorporated into applicable baselines.
Support technology refresh and obsolescence management activities by maintaining equipment inventories and lifecycle records.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance configuration management efficiency and compliance.
