ABOUT REVIN
Revin builds AI-powered software for the businesses that keep our homes running: roofing, HVAC, plumbing, remodeling, and more. We help these businesses respond to customers, book appointments, and manage the customer experience across voice, SMS, and email.
Revin handles around half a million customer conversations a month. Businesses with hundreds of millions in annual revenue rely on our products for work that directly affects their customers and their bottom line.
Our customers include Vertex Service Partners, a national roofing and exterior-services platform with over $600M in revenue, and Del-Air, a $300M+ HVAC and plumbing business.
See the impact of our work: we’ve helped Del-Air book 11,000+ membership appointments https://revin.ai/case-studies/delair, while ImproveIt uses Revin to set 34% of its booked appointments https://revin.ai/case-studies/improveit.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring our first in-house product designer to shape how customers experience Revin. You’ll own product design from understanding the problem through polished interfaces, launch, and iteration. The challenge is making a complex AI system feel clear, useful, and trustworthy to people with a business to run.
You’ll work closely with our product manager and engineers, with substantial input into the products we build and our roadmap. One PM oversees our entire product. We work from strong product briefs and give you the independence to challenge assumptions, explore solutions, and make decisions.
You’ll establish the patterns and standards that help the whole team build better products. This is a hands-on role with room to shape our design function as we grow. Expect roughly 80% product design and 20% marketing design, including our website, branding, and customer collateral. Both are core parts of the role.
WHAT YOU’LL DESIGN
- A unified messaging workspace. Help customer service teams work across voice, SMS, and email, review conversations, and handle agent escalations.
- Embedded booking experiences. Make it easy for homeowners to schedule appointments directly on a service provider’s website.
- Agent tooling. Design how operators use net new agent tooling to investigate issues, review and test changes, and improve their agents through a self-serve experience.
- Reporting and analytics. Turn conversation outcomes, quality, bookings, and revenue data into clear information customers can act on.
- New products, from zero to one. Partner with product and engineering to explore customer needs, test concepts, and shape new product experiences from the first idea through launch.
- Our website, brand, and customer collateral. Bring a consistent visual identity and clear product storytelling to how customers discover and understand Revin.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own design through adoption. Frame problems with product, explore flows and prototypes, deliver strong interaction and visual design, and work with engineers through implementation and iteration.
- Stay close to customers. Join calls and onboarding, observe people using the product, and run focused usability tests to understand what needs to improve.
- Make AI understandable and trustworthy. Design clear ways to review what an agent did, understand its decisions, correct mistakes, and take over when needed.
- Prototype quickly with AI tools. Use Figma and functional prototypes to test ideas at the fidelity each question needs. We use tools such as Claude Code and Cursor; we care about what you can learn and build with them.
- Build a practical design system. Evolve our existing component foundation with engineering, establish reusable patterns, and help engineers make good everyday design decisions.
- Measure whether the experience works. Define success with product and engineering, use feedback and usage data to improve adoption and task completion, and keep refining what’s live.
- Design how Revin shows up in the market. Create and evolve our website, branding, and customer collateral, bringing the same care for clarity and visual craft that you bring to the product.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Substantial experience designing products for external customers. Your portfolio shows shipped work, your decisions, what you learned from users, and the impact of your work. Experience with complex B2B or SaaS products is particularly relevant.
- Strong interaction and visual craft. You can simplify complex workflows and data while bringing care to typography, hierarchy, layout, accessibility, and the details of an interface.
- Product judgment and a point of view. You understand the business problem behind a request, contribute ideas, explain tradeoffs, and adapt your thinking as you learn.
- Fluency in Figma and rapid prototyping. You use AI tools to make ideas tangible, test them, and move quickly. Comfort with front-end constraints helps you partner closely with engineers.
- Independence and clear communication. You make decisions, surface blockers early, and keep collaborators informed. You welcome critique and help the team move forward.
- A desire to work in an early-stage startup. You’re energized by broad ownership, short iteration cycles, and the opportunity to make substantial improvements quickly.
- Versatility across product and marketing design. You can translate a coherent visual identity into effective websites, brand assets, and customer collateral.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience as an early design hire at a strong startup.
- Experience designing AI products, agent workflows, or human-AI collaboration.
- Front-end skills or experience contributing to a product codebase.
- Motion or illustration skills.

You’re joining early enough to have a lasting influence on Revin, with meaningful equity ownership and the opportunity to share substantially in the upside you help create.
