Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the company Our client is a fintech company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own product areas end to end on a mobile application, building responsive user interfaces and high-performance backend systems. Work closely with designers and fellow engineers to make technical and product decisions while keeping core systems stable as usage grows. What you'll do - Design and build interactive, intuitive mobile user experiences. - Build high-performance, low-latency backend systems. - Drive reliability and automation so core systems remain stable as volume increases. - Help shape technical and product direction together with designers and engineers. - Own features from decision through implementation, across existing and new product surfaces. Requirements What we're looking for - Three or more years working as a software engineer, with a preference for fast-paced or high-pressure team settings. - Proven ability to work autonomously: identifying problems, making decisions and executing without heavy direction. - High standard for craft and reliability, with strong attention to detail and a record of shipping quickly without repeatedly breaking core systems. - Genuine interest in trading and financial markets. - A real desire to work in person in New York. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Bonus points - Prior work in trading, fintech, markets or related financial products. - A computer science or related technical degree with a strong academic record. - Experience with React and Python. - Open-source contributions, or a trading or Olympiad competition background.
