About the company Our client is a law firm. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Join as a lateral partner to grow and lead a practice advising employers. The role centers on building a client base, delivering legal counsel and working within a collaborative national network with associate and business development support. What you'll do - Build and expand a labor and employment practice by bringing an existing client base to the firm. - Advise employer clients on workplace legal matters with a practical, business-minded approach. - Develop new client relationships and pursue cross-selling opportunities with colleagues in other offices. - Work with associates, paralegals and practice support staff to deliver high-quality client service. - Use the firm's business development and marketing resources to raise your profile in the market. - Contribute to the firm's pro bono and community service efforts. Requirements What we're looking for - 10+ years of experience as a practicing attorney. - Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. - Experience at an AmLaw firm or a boutique firm. - A portable book of business of around $1M. - Located in or willing to relocate to Houston. - An entrepreneurial, driven approach to growing a practice. Benefits Compensation and benefits - Base salary: USD 200,000 to 350,000 per year Location and work model - Houston, TX, United States - Hybrid - Full-time
