Truck Driver GRAND PRAIRIE - PLANT
As a member of the Materials, the Truck Driver responsible for safely operating a Lear - branded truck, typically a commercial vehicle like a tractor-trailer, to deliver products to specified destinations on time, adhering to all federal and state regulations, while maintaining the vehicle in good condition and providing excellent customer service during deliveries
The Role: Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of both the driver and other road users.
- Interact with customers and always maintain a professional demeanor.
- Always maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Safely driving the truck to designated delivery locations and unloading cargo according to customer requirements.
- Properly securing all cargo on the truck to prevent damage during transport.
- Following assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Your Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must have 1 year of OTR truck driving experience (6 months in the last year) OR 9 months OTR experience with a truck driving school
- Compliance with all DOT Driver Qualifications
- Clean driving record for three years.
- Updated medical card
- Must pass drug test
- Health & safety knowledge
- Good communication and organizational skills
