Project Role : Quality Engineer Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. Must have skills : Playwright Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
Summary: As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. You engage in planning activities that integrate various components of the development ecosystem, ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines. Your role includes executing continuous testing cycles focused on security, application programming interfaces, and regression to maintain high standards. You develop and maintain automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in code reviews and track defects, contributing to ongoing improvements throughout the entire testing lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing strategies with project goals.
- Maintain and enhance automated test suites to improve coverage and efficiency.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Monitor testing processes and provide timely feedback to stakeholders to facilitate continuous improvement.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright.
- Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and their application in continuous integration environments.
- Experience in developing and maintaining test automation scripts to support various testing types including functional, regression, and security testing.
- Ability to configure and manage test environments and data to simulate real-world scenarios effectively.
- Familiarity with code review processes and defect tracking tools to support quality assurance activities.
- Capability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve software quality.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Playwright.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
