Project Role : Quality Engineer Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. Must have skills : Playwright Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
Summary: As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines, ensuring seamless integration within the development ecosystem. Your role includes executing continuous testing cycles focused on various aspects such as security and application programming interfaces, while also maintaining and evolving automated testing frameworks. You actively participate in reviewing code, tracking issues, and contributing to ongoing improvements that elevate the overall quality and reliability of software products throughout their lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with project goals and timelines.
- Maintain and enhance automated test suites to ensure comprehensive coverage and efficiency.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to development teams to facilitate prompt resolution of defects.
- Support environment setup and data configuration to enable accurate and reliable testing scenarios.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright.
- Experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks using Playwright.
- Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Ability to develop and maintain regression, security, and API test suites.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and test automation best practices.
- Skilled in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects to support quality improvements.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Playwright.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
