Job Summary InBody India is seeking a driven Sales Specialist to lead Business-to-Defense initiatives, generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth across Defense/PSU sectors. This role involves developing new businesses, establishing relationships, tender-based sales, and institutional partnerships, while driving sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities
• Identify new business opportunities across Defense market.
- Identify new business opportunities across Defense market.
- Manage complete sales cycle including tendering, bidding, and order closure.
- Build relationships with defense officials, procurement committees, military hospitals, training centres and decision-makers.
- Maintain strong relationships for repeat business, renewals, and expansions.
- Monitor defense procurement opportunities, tender notifications, and market trends.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely submission of bids and compliance with tender requirements.
- Monitor competitor activity and identify new public sector opportunities.
- Represent the company at defense exhibitions, institutional meetings, industry events, and customer meetings.
- Maintain accurate tender trackers, sales pipeline, and MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and documentation standards.
- B. Pharma / equivalent bachelor's degree / MBA (Marketing) preferred.
- Prior experience in Medical sales / Defense market / Institutional sales / Tender-based sales is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with GeM portal, e-tendering, and public procurement processes.
- Strong understanding of RFQ/RFP documentation, and compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to navigate bureaucratic processes and long sales cycles.
- Willingness to travel for meetings, follow-ups, and project execution.
