About the job

POSITION OVERVIEW

ZURU Edge is growing fast across South East Asia, and we’re looking for an Operations Manager to make sure our brands are on shelf, on time and at the right cost. You’ll lead supply chain and operations across Baby, Beauty, Pet and Confectionery in the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam. Your work covers everything from the factory order to the retail shelf. If you love bringing order to complexity and want to build an operation that scales, this is your seat.

About ZURU

ZURU is a reimagination company. We look for categories that have stood still, then we build next-generation products and brands that set the new standard. ZURU Toys is reimagining play. ZURU Edge is reinventing everyday consumer brands. Rhodes Pet Science is reimagining pet science. ZURU Tech is leading the next building revolution.

ZURU started in 2003 with two brothers from New Zealand, and we’re still founder-owned and operated today. Since then we’ve become the world’s second-biggest privately held toy company, and nearly half of all Gen Y and Gen Z households with kids in the US own a ZURU product. Today we’re 5,000 people in 34 offices, selling into more than 150 markets, backed by over 100 acres of fully automated manufacturing. And we’re only getting started.

Position Impact

Our growth in SEA depends on getting the right stock to the right market at the right time, at a cost that protects margin. You’ll make that happen across a portfolio that includes Rascals, Hey Tiger and Millie Moon (Baby), MONDAY, BEING and DAISE (Beauty), Bonkers and Mr Purrs (Pet) and GumiYum Surprise (Confectionery). Success looks like this:

  • Consumers can always find our brands.
  • Inventory at the factory and in market is healthy, not excessive.
  • New launches clear regulatory approval on schedule.

Reporting to our SEA Director, you’ll turn a growing multi-vertical, multi-market operation into a planned, measurable process that delivers profitable growth.

How you’ll help us grow

  • Lead the monthly S&OP cycle across all SEA verticals and markets, bringing forecasts, retailer demand, inventory and factory capacity into one agreed supply plan
  • Build forecasts with the commercial team and retail partners, and place factory orders that account for lead times, MOQs and launch timings
  • Track stock from factory to retailer DC, preventing out-of-stocks and overstock and sequencing shipments to land when retailers can receive them
  • Hold distributors and importers of record accountable for order handling, shipments, documentation and service levels
  • Work with retail partners on POs, delivery schedules, DC bookings and stock data, and resolve supply issues fast
  • Coordinate product registrations and import permits in each market so launches and replenishment aren’t delayed
  • Benchmark freight, customs and delivery cost and transit times across markets, and work with partners to close the gaps
  • Own the operations scorecard (service level, forecast accuracy, weeks of cover, stock turns, logistics cost) and standardise processes so we can add markets without adding complexity

What Helps You Win Here

  • 5+ years in supply chain, demand planning or operations in FMCG, including at least 3 years across multiple SEA markets
  • Hands-on experience running an S&OP process and building forecasts and replenishment plans
  • Experience managing distributors, importers of record or 3PLs: setting service levels, reviewing performance and improving cost and lead times across cross-border supply chains
  • Working knowledge of product registration and import approvals in SEA, ideally for food, cosmetics or baby care
  • Advanced Excel and data modelling skills, with ERP (e.g. SAP) and reporting tool (e.g. Power BI) experience, plus a degree in supply chain, business or a related field

Who thrives at ZURU

This isn’t a 9-to-5. We move fast, think big and set goals most companies would call impossible, then go after them. The people who thrive here are entrepreneurs at heart. They own their work, chase bold ideas and never stop raising the bar.

At ZURU, you drive your career, and we give you the platform to take it as far as you can. There are opportunities here that you won’t find anywhere else, and you’ll be surrounded by talented people who make things happen. We’re a true meritocracy: we reward impact, not tenure.

How we work

Big ideas happen when great people work side by side, so we’re office-first by design. Being together means faster collaboration, sharper decisions and stronger teams, and it’s where the real learning happens. Some flexibility may be available depending on the role, location and business needs, but most roles are office-based.
