As a Managed Services - Management company Accounting- Manager you will lead outsourced accounting workstreams, manage client interactions, review data and process outputs, and handle escalations that arise across recurring service activities within our Assurance practice. As a Manager you will guide teams, coach and develop team members, manage performance, and apply business judgment to deliver work that aligns with client expectations and PwC quality expectations. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will oversee multiple priorities, apply technology-enabled methods, monitor controls, and contribute to process improvements that support efficient delivery across accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Managing outsourced accounting workstreams for asset and wealth management clients while prioritizing timelines, scope, and deliverables
- Leading teams through month-end close activities, journal entry review, reconciliations, and financial reporting support
- Coaching staff on accounting processes, workpaper preparation, and issue resolution to build technical skills and consistency
- Reviewing transactional data, financial records, and control evidence to validate accuracy and identify exceptions
- Overseeing quality control procedures, process documentation, and remediation actions across recurring service activities
- Coordinating responses to client questions, escalations, and service issues with clear follow-through and resolution tracking
- Using technology-enabled tools to streamline process execution, data handling, and reporting activities
- Identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, control design, and service delivery across complex finance operations
- Applying knowledge of fund accounting, valuation support, regulatory reporting, and compliance activities in managed services delivery
- Supporting budgeting, staffing, and work allocation decisions to balance workload and maintain delivery commitments
What You Must Have
- CA / CA Inter / CMA / ACCA / MBA (Finance).
- Treasury Accounting & Reporting Expertise – Manage treasury-related accounting activities including cash, investments, hedging, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Technical Finance & Regulatory Knowledge – Strong understanding of US GAAP, SEC disclosures, treasury products, financial instruments, and capital markets transactions to support accurate accounting and compliance.
- Leadership & Process Improvement – Act as a subject matter expert, mentor junior team members, drive process standardization, improve controls, and lead transformation initiatives across treasury operations.
