Senior Engineer - Embedded

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Embedded Manual Engineer to support verification and validation of embedded systems for industrial products, with a strong preference for power tools and related electromechanical applications. This role focuses on qualification test plans, manual verification, defect tracking, and close collaboration with firmware, hardware, and systems teams to ensure product quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities · Develop and execute qualification test plans for embedded systems and firmware. · Perform manual verification and validation of embedded software and hardware-software integrated systems. · Create test cases, procedures, scenarios, and traceability matrices from requirements. · Use JIRA XRAY for test management, execution tracking, defect logging, and reporting. · Support functional, integration, system-level, and qualification testing. · Work with firmware, hardware, and systems teams to ensure complete test coverage. · Track defects through resolution and support regression verification. · Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and verification status updates. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or related Diploma in similar field with 8+ years of experience. · 5+ years of proven experience in embedded manual testing, verification, or validation engineering. · Strong experience with qualification test plans, verification, and validation processes. · Hands-on experience using JIRA XRAY for test and defect management. · Understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, peripherals, and hardware-software interaction. · Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills · Experience testing industrial embedded products, especially power tools. · Exposure to motor-driven or electromechanical systems. · Familiarity with lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, or protocol analyzers. · Understanding of product qualification, reliability validation, and structured test methodologies.
