Job Description Job Description We are currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Material Handler in our Elmhurst location. If you have experience working with HVAC materials as a forklift and or prior RF Gun in a warehouse environment this is the position for you! As a Material Handler, you will: Work in warehouses and production facilities to move products. This may include finding materials on the shelves and wrapping them and putting them on a delivery truck, or pulling materials off the truck and putting them in the proper shelf spot. Job Description
- Receive shipments using a warehouse management tool
- Put away/locate all items received
- Verify correct items and quantities on all receipts
- Inspect all items for damage prior to signing and accepting items
- Pick and ship all outgoing shipments including UPS, LTL, Truckload, Local Carrier and Messenger Services
- Perform counts of inventory
- Load/Unload using forklift both box and flatbeds
- Use appropriate fork extenders as required for larger units
- Inform Warehouse Manager of all discrepancies, damage, etc.
- Maintain warehouse organization and appearance
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications A successful Material Handler will possess the following:
- Prior forklift experience a plus
- Prior Radio Frequency (RF) Gun experience
- HVAC knowledge (previous field experience preferred)
Additional Information The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is between the range of $88,000 - $108,000, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. This range does not include annual bonus percentage nor any other monetary considerations for the total compensation package. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
