Role Overview As an Asst-Office Operations, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing essential administrative and clerical support in a medical setting. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations, from patient check-in to appointment scheduling, and plays a vital part in the patient experience. - Greet patients and visitors, checking them in and out while obtaining necessary documentation.
- Verify and enter demographic information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Obtain and verify insurance authorizations/precertification for patient services.
- Complete medical record release requests and schedule/confirm patient appointments.
- Enter, review, and submit charges for patient procedures and services daily.
- Collect co-payments and reconcile daily reports and deposits for accuracy.
Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
• At least one (1) year of related experience. • Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
