ABOUT THE ROLE
As the founding designer at an AI-powered procurement company, you will own the product experience from onboarding and agent configuration to workflow monitoring and production oversight. You will establish clear, intuitive patterns for how people and AI agents work together in complex business processes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design end-to-end product flows, wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, and a design system that can scale with the platform.
- Define how people and AI agents collaborate, including when agents act, when people step in, and how decisions remain visible and auditable.
- Turn complex procurement workflows, such as failed matches, change orders, and goods receipt exceptions, into clear interfaces.
- Work directly with procurement and finance leaders and incorporate customer feedback into product design.
- Prototype quickly, scope work with the team, and iterate based on real usage patterns.
- Create product visuals and customer-facing materials that communicate the platform's value.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 5 years of product design experience, with shipped enterprise or B2B products that make complex tools intuitive.
- Experience translating complex business processes into clear mental models and end-to-end product experiences.
- Ability to own a product area as the sole or primary designer, from early flows through shipped interfaces.
- Experience designing workflows where human decisions interact with automated or AI agent actions.
- Experience building or maintaining design systems, prototyping, and iterating based on user feedback or product usage.
- Experience with AI-native products, early-stage startups, sales and marketing collateral, or procurement, finance, and ERP software is valuable.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary range: $180,000 to $300,000 USD annually.
LOCATION
On-site in San Francisco, California, United States.
