Job Description
- Perform raw material sampling and testing using wet chemistry techniques.
- Conduct visual and analytical testing to support release of pharmaceutical packaging and medical device components.
- Document test results, maintain laboratory records, and review associated documentation.
- Write, review, and update SOPs, specifications, and related laboratory documents.
- Calibrate, verify, and maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and instrumentation.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, regulatory, and quality requirements.
- Participate in training and collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and cross-functional partners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and 5S principles.
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a fast-paced GMP environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced GMP environment
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, or a related field
- Hands-on lab testing experience with wet chemistry techniques
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information
- Position is full-time, 1st shift 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
- Pay range: $22.50 - $23.50 / hour
