What You Will Do: Pratt & Whitney Engineering Development Program Test Systems Engineering (TSE) is currently seeking Mechanical, Aerospace, and Systems Engineering students to support the test groups at Pratt & Whitney as part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). The Engineering Development Program is a multiyear program for new college hires that has been implemented to:
- Accelerate technical capability through substantive work rotations focused in specific disciplines
- Connect EDP participants with a network of technical resources & engineering experts.
- Associates in the EDP may work in disciplines across our test engineering organization, including but not limited to:
- Design Engineering for Tooling, Instrumentation and Test Equipment (TSE)
- Product Safety, Assembly, and Test Engineering
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related major obtained by start date.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Prior internship or co-op experience in the aerospace and defense industry, especially with Pratt & Whitney or other Raytheon Technologies companies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a consistent record of collaboration, innovation, and initiative
- A passion for learning about and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in responding to new business challenges
- Eager to learn new things, contribute a fresh perspective, and share your knowledge with others

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
