About the job
What success looks like in this role:
- Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, monitors, software and peripherals .
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair IT equipment and devices.
- Complete basic installs, moves, adds and changes (IMAC) across customer environments.
- Assist with network, server, device and application testing .
- Manage incidents and service requests, ensuring SLA targets and ticket updates are met.
- Deliver a positive customer experience through timely and professional onsite support.
- Follow established Field Engineering procedures and support special technical projects as required.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent qualification.
- Ideally up to 1 year of IT support, desktop support or field engineering experience .
- Basic knowledge of PC hardware, Windows, peripherals and troubleshooting .
- Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
