Sr. Scrum MasterLocation: Irving, TX (Onsite) | ContractOverviewOur client is seeking a Sr. Scrum Master to lead the planning, execution and delivery of strategic technology initiatives, combining hands-on Scrum facilitation with disciplined program management as a servant leader who coaches delivery teams and removes impediments.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate all Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives and backlog refinement.Coach teams on Scrum, Kanban and Lean practices and remove impediments so teams meet sprint commitments.Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets and resource allocations.Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Operations and business stakeholders.Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies and change requests; drive release planning and delivery governance across multiple workstreams.Communicate status, risks and key decisions to leadership through executive-level reporting and metrics.Establish and track delivery KPIs such as sprint velocity, burndown and release predictability.Foster continuous improvement in quality, productivity and deployment readiness.Primarily standard business hours, with occasional after-hours support during releases or critical milestones; may coordinate with distributed and offshore teams across time zones.Required Qualifications5+ years as a Scrum Master, Project Manager or Agile Program Manager managing software development projects in Agile environments.Expertise with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or other Agile frameworks.Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence or similar tools.Strong understanding of the SDLC, software development practices and release management.Excellent communication, facilitation, organization and stakeholder management.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or a related field.Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), PMI-ACP or SAFe certification.Preferred QualificationsPMP certification.Experience leading cloud, digital transformation, mobile, web or enterprise platform initiatives.Experience leading distributed and offshore teams.Retail technology experience.Pay rate: $60/hr. This is a 6 months contract position, onsite in Irving, TX. Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders.
