This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week. Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain PHP-based applications and services.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Design and optimize database structures, queries, and data access layers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues.
- Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- 5+ years of professional PHP development experience
- Strong expertise in Laravel or modern PHP frameworks
- Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and MVC architecture
- Advanced experience with MySQL (query optimization, indexing, schema design)
- Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Proven experience with Git and collaborative workflows
- Experience writing unit, integration, and feature tests
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
