About the Project
The project aims to demonstrate a digitally enabled, private provider-led model for expanding access to Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment (TPT) eligible beneficiaries seeking care in the private sector. Implemented in selected high-burden geographies in Mumbai, Maharashtra under NTEP stewardship, the model will integrate virtual TPT services, standardized digital screening and follow-up workflows, mobile diagnostic services, and doorstep delivery of TPT medicines to strengthen beneficiary identification, screening, treatment initiation, adherence, and completion. Leveraging existing national digital platforms and engaging private providers, NTEP teams, and other service providers, the initiative will generate implementation evidence to inform potential adaptation and scale-up through routine programme mechanisms.
