Position Overview Citi Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) provides services across the globe covering 96 markets and transacting in 144 currencies . The Non-Functional Testing (NFT) group supports 100+ applications across multiple lines of business within the TTS Cash Management group. This senior role demands SME-level expertise to own performance testing solutions for complex, distributed payment architectures. The TTS Cash NFT team is looking for an IT Quality Senior Analyst – C12 (AVP - Performance Testing & Engineering) who will take ownership of more than 2 application performance testing solutions and play an SME role to engage with Development, Architecture, and Business teams to gather requirements and design the performance testing approach to certify application changes before production deployments. This role requires close collaboration with the Global NFT team and is expected to lead a team alongside the NFT Practice Manager on a need basis. The candidate should have strong knowledge to lead Non-Functional Testing (Performance Testing & Engineering) for applications with complex architecture and should have exposure in monitoring, profiling, and analyzing with industry-standard tools.

Key Responsibilities This role is for a IT Quality Senior Analyst – C12 (AVP - Performance Testing & Engineering) and is expected to have SME-level knowledge to drive non-functional testing solutions for applications with complex architecture, middleware applications, along with service virtualization and data management. Performance Engineering & Testing
- Lead end-to-end impact assessments, testing approach design, planning, execution, application profiling, metrics analysis, reporting, and risk management for assigned projects and applications.
- Implement and execute a performance test framework for non-functional testing covering load, volume, stress, capacity, and scalability testing to validate business non-functional requirements.
- Assess and design standalone component or end-to-end testing approaches connecting multiple components in complex payments flows.
- Profile application performance end-to-end and identify application and hardware/OS-level bottlenecks using AppDynamics and other monitoring tools.
- Perform AWR analysis for Oracle database performance tuning and provide recommendations.
- Conduct SQL query performance analysis and optimize database interactions for high-throughput scenarios.
• Validate MongoDB query performance , indexing strategies, and data access patterns under load.

- Chaos/Resiliency for Kafka, MQ, Application, Mongo, AWS cloud
- Design and execute performance tests for Kafka-based event-driven architectures , including producer/consumer throughput, partition performance, and lag analysis.
- Conduct IBM MQ performance testing including queue depth analysis, message throughput, and latency benchmarking.
• Test ECS containerized workloads , including auto-scaling behavior, container resource utilization, and service mesh performance.

- Leverage a strong knowledge of monitoring tools — AppDynamics, Kibana, BMC TrueSight — to analyze system health and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Produce and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) around testing performed. Manage best-in-class service quality and SLA/OLA compliance.

Qualifications
- 10–12 years of experience in an IT Quality role with demonstrated ability to work independently or within cross-functional teams on complex projects.
- Requires in-depth knowledge, understanding, and analytical thought. Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of several areas within IT Quality and has a good understanding of the industry.
- Strong understanding of testing processes. In-depth understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and solid experience in several phases of systems development, preferably in testing program management.
