Job Description We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Olympic as our new Full Time Server Assistant at The George Restaurant! The George is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full Time Server Assistant to join our dynamic team. If you're eager to assist our guests and be part of their Fairmont experience, we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:
- Support the servers in creating an outstanding dining experience for our guests by ensuring their needs are met promptly
- Set up and prepare dining areas, including arranging table settings and maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Welcome guests, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere
- Assist in clearing and resetting tables efficiently to ensure smooth service flow
- Aid in the delivery of food and beverages to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation
- Respond to guest inquiries and special requests with courtesy and professionalism
Qualifications What will you bring to this role? EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least two years high volume restaurant serving experience preferred

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Previous experience as a server assistant or similar role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate
- A passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA
- Food Handlers Card and MAST permit required
- Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height
- Must be able to perform duties which involve repetitive bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting
