Job title: Adjunct Faculty, Biology (BIO419/BIO519 Immunology) Worker type / category: Adjunct faculty, part-time, temporary Department: Science (Biology) Term: Spring 2027 (Jan 4 - Apr 30) Location: Chatham University, Pittsburgh, PA (on campus) Course and schedule: BIO419/BIO519 Immunology, 3 credits. Tuesday and Thursday, 2:15 to 3:30 PM. Summary: The Science department is seeking an adjunct instructor for Immunology, an upper-level course taught as a single section with undergraduate (BIO419) and graduate (BIO519) enrollment. The course serves biology, human biology and pre-health students. Responsibilities:

• Teach the combined section on campus at the scheduled times. • Prepare the syllabus, readings, assignments and exams, with appropriate expectations for undergraduate and graduate students. • Hold office hours, advise students on course questions and submit grades on time. • Coordinate with the department chair. Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in immunology, microbiology or a closely related field, with relevant experience required. Preferred qualifications: PhD in immunology, microbiology or a closely related field preferred. To apply: Submit a cover letter, CV and the names of three references through Workday.
