Field Service Dispatcher

A growing home and commercial services company is looking for a resourceful Field Service Dispatcher to coordinate technician schedules and manage incoming service requests. This position plays an important role in keeping field operations organized while providing customers with timely updates and dependable service. The ideal candidate is comfortable juggling multiple schedules and knows how to keep communication flowing between technicians, customers, and management.What You’ll Do:Schedule and dispatch field technicians for service calls, installations, and maintenance appointments.Coordinate daily routes based on technician availability, location, and job priority.Monitor technician schedules and adjust assignments as emergencies or cancellations arise.Communicate appointment windows and service updates to customers.Create and update service work orders in the company's scheduling system.Coordinate parts availability and equipment requirements with warehouse personnel.Follow up on open service tickets and confirm job completion.Escalate urgent customer concerns and scheduling conflicts to management.Maintain accurate technician calendars and service records.Assist with reviewing completed work orders for billing accuracy.
