Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations for a growing organization in Altamonte Springs, Florida. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who is comfortable working across day-to-day financial processes while maintaining accuracy in reporting and documentation. The person in this role will contribute to general ledger activity, invoicing, and transactional accounting functions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.Responsibilities:• Maintain the general ledger by recording financial activity accurately and preparing supporting documentation for account activity.• Process customer invoicing and monitor accounting records to help ensure timely and accurate transaction posting.• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including data entry, reconciliation support, and follow-up on outstanding items.• Prepare and post journal entries to keep financial records complete and aligned with reporting requirements.• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP to enter, review, and organize accounting data across daily operations.• Assist with corporate tax and sales tax activities by compiling financial information and supporting required filings.• Support month-end accounting processes through account analysis, record updates, and verification of financial data.
