We are looking for a Controller to join our team in Missouri on a Contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting specialist who can lead core financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support timely reporting. The role focuses on strengthening day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring compliance, consistency, and strong financial oversight.Responsibilities:• Direct the month-end close process to ensure deadlines are met and financial results are recorded accurately.• Oversee general ledger activity, reviewing transactions and maintaining the integrity of account balances.• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate support and alignment to accounting standards.• Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.• Coordinate audit preparation by organizing documentation, responding to inquiries, and supporting financial statement reviews.• Monitor accounting workflows and recommend process improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency.• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and assist with reporting needs.• Support accounting-related operational changes or system updates as needed while maintaining continuity in reporting.
