Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations for a Long-term Contract position based in Pasadena, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable handling core accounting activities in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will help maintain accurate records, contribute to timely reporting, and support financial compliance while protecting sensitive information.Responsibilities:• Maintain organized and accurate financial records to support daily accounting operations and reporting needs.• Prepare routine and periodic financial reports that provide clear insight into business performance.• Reconcile bank statements, general ledger balances, and other accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.• Record accounting activity through journal entries and verify that transactions are properly documented.• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.• Assist with month-end closing activities, including balance reviews and supporting schedules.• Contribute to budgeting tasks by gathering financial data and helping track performance against plans.• Support adherence to accounting policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements while maintaining confidentiality.
