Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support essential office and operational tasks for an engineering organization in Ridgefield, Connecticut. This Contract position is well suited for someone who is comfortable managing records, coordinating documentation, and keeping routine administrative processes organized and accurate. The role includes working across spreadsheets, database systems, invoice-related activities, and shipping coordination to help maintain efficient day-to-day business operations.Responsibilities:• Maintain and update Excel-based records used to track inventory levels, shipping timelines, and newly created parts information.• Enter and manage order details within database systems to support accurate booking, documentation, and record retention.• Prepare invoices and packing slips, ensuring all related information is processed correctly and in a timely manner.• Handle weekly accounts payable activities, including processing a small volume of check payments with accuracy and attention to detail.• Create and manage outbound shipments through the FedEx online platform, including preparing shipment information and confirming order dispatch.• Perform data entry tasks that support office operations, financial documentation, and administrative reporting.• Assist with general administrative office duties to help maintain organized workflows and dependable operational support.
