About the job
Company Overview:
Blink Health is the fastest growing healthcare technology company that builds products to make prescriptions accessible and affordable to everybody. Our two primary products – BlinkRx and Quick Save – remove traditional roadblocks within the current prescription supply chain, resulting in better access to critical medications and improved health outcomes for patients.
BlinkRx is the world’s first pharma-to-patient cloud that offers a digital concierge service for patients who are prescribed branded medications. Patients benefit from transparent low prices, free home delivery, and world-class support on this first-of-its-kind centralized platform. With BlinkRx, never again will a patient show up at the pharmacy only to discover that they can’t afford their medication, their doctor needs to fill out a form for them, or the pharmacy doesn’t have the medication in stock.
We are a highly collaborative team of builders and operators who invent new ways of working in an industry that historically has resisted innovation. Join us!
The Opportunity
The Patient Services Operations team is central in advancing our mission to provide affordable care and deliver exceptional patient experience. We are seeking an Onboarding Manager to join our Training team.
This coach-first role sits at the intersection of new hire experience and people leadership. You'll guide new hourly team members through their first weeks at BlinkRx, helping them build confidence, connect with our culture, and grow into successful members of the team.
You'll be the first leader many of our new hires work with, which means you'll shape how they experience BlinkRx from day one. As part of the Training organization, you’ll partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Workplace Services, and Operations to build a consistent, supportive onboarding experience, and use data to understand what helps new hires thrive. This is an ideal opportunity for a people-focused leader who loves coaching and developing others, balances empathy with accountability, and wants to make a lasting impact on the start of someone's career.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the dedicated leader and point of contact for new hourly hires from their first day through their transition to their permanent team
- Coach and develop new hires, helping them build the skills, confidence, and habits that lead to long-term success at BlinkRx
- Welcome new hires into Blink's culture, helping them understand our values, our expectations, and how their work makes a difference for patients
- Be a trusted resource and open door for new hires who have questions, concerns, or simply need support as they navigate the early stages of their careers
- Address attendance, performance, and conduct concerns early through supportive coaching conversations, and partner with HR and Employee Relations to manage formal policy matters with fairness and consistency
- Partner with Trainers to create a positive, engaging learning environment so every class can stay focused on learning
- Ensure a smooth handoff from Training to Operations by building strong relationships with receiving managers
- Track and analyze new hire engagement, performance, and attrition within the first 90 days to understand what helps new hires succeed and where they need more support
- Close the loop between Talent Acquisition, Training, and Operations by sharing insights and recommending improvements to hiring profiles, onboarding, and training programs
- Foster a welcoming, supportive, and accountable environment that sets new hires up to build lasting careers at Blink
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated experience managing people through the full performance lifecycle — including coaching, formal reviews, and corrective action.
- Strong understanding of HR policies and ability to navigate employee issues with empathy and professionalism
- A proven desire to coach, develop, and support employees
- Strong leadership; ability to provide critical and on-time feedback and coaching to team members and business partners
- Ability to leverage data to make crucial decisions independently
- Strong problem solving skills, especially when working with ambiguous information
- Attention to detail with a knack for precision and organization
- Confident, patient, respectful, and a clear communicator
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy operations, or a similarly regulated, high-volume contact center environment is a plus.
