Beechwood Coop Senior Living Community is seeking an experienced, service-oriented, and results-driven Program Manager to lead our vibrant 61-unit full-service independent living cooperative community. Located on a senior living campus that also includes assisted living and skilled nursing services, Beechwood offers residents an engaging, supportive, and independent lifestyle.
The Program Manager serves as the operational, community, and sales leader for Beechwood Coop, ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction, high-quality services, strong occupancy, and effective day-to-day operations. This role works closely with a resident-led Board of Directors and collaborates with campus leadership and shared service departments to support the needs of the cooperative community while driving apartment sales and maintaining occupancy goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management of the Beechwood community.
- Foster a resident-centered culture that promotes engagement, independence, and quality of life.
- Supervise and support staff responsible for resident activities, administrative services, housekeeping functions, and community operations.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve occupancy and sales goals for Beechwood's cooperative apartments.
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective residents and families, conducting tours, presentations, follow-up communications, and relationship-building activities throughout the sales process.
- Maintain and manage the prospect pipeline from initial inquiry through move-in, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Partner with campus sales and marketing teams to develop marketing initiatives, community outreach programs, referral relationships, and lead generation efforts.
- Represent Beechwood at community events, professional organizations, and networking opportunities to increase community awareness and generate referrals.
- Coordinate and collaborate with shared campus departments including dining services, maintenance, sales and marketing, and other operational support teams.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, board members, staff, referral sources, and community partners.
- Support resident programs, events, and activities that enhance community life and serve as opportunities to showcase the community to prospective residents.
- Assist with budgeting, operational planning, financial performance, occupancy goals, and regulatory compliance as applicable.
- Attend and support Board meetings, providing reports, recommendations, operational updates, and occupancy performance metrics.
- Serve as a liaison between the Beechwood Board, residents, and campus leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; concentration in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Hospitality, Gerontology, or a related field preferred.
- Previous management or supervisory experience required.
- Senior living sales, retirement community sales, real estate, hospitality sales, property management, healthcare marketing, or related sales experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in customer relationship management, sales, occupancy development, or business development.
- Experience working with older adults, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, property management, or related service environments preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, customer service, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships and effectively work with resident governing boards, staff, referral sources, and community stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM software, and general business technology.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $39.61 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
